The Liftlock Stars held their year end Awards Banquet tonight at the Peterborough Lions Club with a good crowd in attendance.  A very nice meal was enjoyed by all that was prepared by the Lions Club - Well Done Lions.

Awards were handed out after the meal with the following receiving Awards:

The Jim Hargreaves Award for best defenceman - Alec Thieda

Most Gentlemanly Player Award - Nick Butson

President's Trophy (leading scorer) - Mac Balson

Alumni Award (outstanding dedication and commitment to the team) - tie between Chris Johnston and Dylan Hogan

Auudrey Runnalls Memorial Award (most improved player) - Ryan Donohoe

Jack Christmas Memorial Award ( combines hockey ability and scholastics) - Keenan Murray

Gerry Carey Memorial Award  (rookie of the year) - Jeff Swift

Labatt's Award (MVP)  - Zac Fryia

The Armstrong Family Award (playoff MVP) - Steve Evans
